Well, after Day 1, 7 of the 10 caches have been found by two different cachers. At first I thought the whole day might go by with no-one finding them, but the first logs came in around 5pm.
ReplyDeleteAt least the caches are still there and someone is looking for them! Both have said they'll return to complete the series. I hope they do.
After Day 2 only 1 unfound cache remains - the final puzzle cache. Only 1 person was looking for them today and he had returned from yesterday.
ReplyDeleteI do hope I've not made it not too difficult to understand and that more cachers have a go tomorrow.
On Day 3 only 1 new cacher attempted some of the caches and seemingly without a working GPS! As I designed the caches to be found by GPS co-ordinates and not by the clues alone, this didn't seem like a great idea.
ReplyDeleteThe cacher found only one of six attempts which were all logged as DNF's. I am a bit concerned that this will put others off, as I am always wary of trying a cache where it wasn't found in the last log.
I have checked some of the DNF caches logged and they are still there, so I'll just put it down to this cacher's inexperience.
