Benllech Bonaza - GC1V3RA

We parked in the main car park at Benllech Beach and left the kids in the car whilst sarahjones65 and I went out to do what was to be our sixth and final cache of the day.

As we only had the coordinates and hint but no description, Sarah chose a route along the coastal footpath above the southern end of the beach, but it soon became clear that the cache was actually down on the beach. Fortunately there was a way down that we knew about, and so we didn't need to retrace our steps.

When down on the beach at GZ there were so many places to look, and I had just about given up when Sarah announced that she had found it. It was deep in a cleft in the rock and I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes a DNF for many people. I also think that a stormy sea might dislodge it at some time in the future and then it would become a floating cache of variable position somewhere in the Irish Sea :)

It was also quite difficult to get the cache container out of its hidey hole. I eventually managed it and, after signing the log and taking the bike bell, I put it back in exactly the same position where Sarah discovered it. Unfortunately we didn't have anything left to leave today - sorry.
