Woggles in the Woods - GC137W2

This was to be the third cache of the day whilst out showing some of our relatives (The Walshes) the geocaching ropes. After a short break for drinks and biscuits and with two successful finds under our belt, we set off confidently for the woods with Liam at the GPSr helm. The path from our car park was straightforward and soon we had reached the council offices and were heading past the now seemingly defunct 'Butterfly World' for the woods. There was a little confusion whilst we looked for what seemed to be a suitable path when suddenly Sarah posed like a pointer dog when she found the entrance into the woods.

This was another example of geocaching taking us somewhere where we'd never have thought to come otherwise. The woods were very pretty and the intermittent view of the Conwy Estuary were great. We carried on for a while and shortly, after a couple of false leads, we had found the cache. We took it back to a nearby bench with an interesting inscription on it and did the logging admin. We left Emily's Quest, a 'Help for Heroes, geocoin and then, after posing for a photo, we left happily in search of our fourth and final cache at Conwy Quays. We never did see any woggles though.
